Key Notes
“8 Ball Bunny” is taken from the opening title card from Chuck Jones's 1950 classic cartoon, “8 Ball Bunny.” This is the second cartoon that featured the penguin character; Playboy. In this cartoon, Bugs helps a penguin go home via New Orleans, Martinique, the Panama Canal, and finally the South Pole. Bugs thinks he is finally rid of the little penguin until Playboy starts to cry, his tears turning into ice cubes, because his home is in New Jersey. - Clampett Studios
Serigraph cels also know as a sericel are carefully transferred by a talented artist to ink on paper. The serigraphers created separate screens, one for each color, from which the edition was printed onto acetate. Using this meticulous serigraph process, the hand-crafted quality of an original cel was achieved.
